Found by Davy Rothbart (2004, Paperback)

This book is really neat. It is a compilation of notes and photos that have been 'found' discarded, on the street, wherever. Whoever found it sent it in to the author (or editor)...and this has been going on for a while, it all started as a magazine. Some of the material is hilarious. It is a very clever idea and is very entertaining. One neat thing about the book is you can just browse through the contents, read a page here and there, in any order. It is easy to pick up look at for a few minutes, and put down again. I have to be slightly skeptical tho...how can we be totally sure that the material was found by readers and fans? How do we know that somebody didn't make up something that was purposely funny just to try to get it published? I recommend this book for a coffee table in a college student's apartment.
