Synopsis Wacky photographs, discarded love letters, random notes, hilariously augmented homework, and disturbing drawings are just a few of the items collected in this stunning compendium of life's detritus discovered in dumpsters, books, or simply on the sidewalk. The best of Found, a magazine devoted to found items sent in by people across the world, opens with an astounding break-up letter reasoning that, since "we found out we were related," things can no longer continue, and concludes with a sad "Dear Mom" letter found attached to a balloon in a tree. This abandoned treasure trove also includes such mementos as a fitness plan suggesting sex as a major calorie buster, a flyer for a sex video filmed by Congress, and a note stating, "Revolutionary women are more beautiful." Includes an interview with cartoonist Lynda Barry.
