Forza Motorsport 3 (Xbox 360, 548605431)

This is really a great game and is a lot better than Forza 1&2 in many ways, but there were a couple of things that were better in the older games.
#1. you could navigate around a lot better and choose which races you wanted to.In F3 they pretty much had control of what your next race was going to be.

That was a little confusing because you never knew what class you would be in and didn't know what cars you should keep for the upcoming races.I was afraid to sell any of my cars because I never knew If I would need them again.

#2.Another thing that constantly annoyed me was that some of the font size was not readable on a standard T.V. I never could tell how many laps were left in a race. I could not read any of the Tips,History or Facts. When I was trying to choose a car for a race I could not make out what the specifications of a car was.

#3. Downloading between races seemed a little slow.

#4.On the game case it says that there are over 100 tracks to race on. I found around 25 with some having variations of different stages of the same track. I think in order to see all of the 100 tracks you have to go Xbox Live on the internet and use a code.

Okay, enough with the Cons because this game definately has a lot more Pros to it.

#1.You have about 12 configurations for your controller.

#2.You have over 400 different cars to buy or win.

#3.The Paint and Detail shop is great. More colors than you could imagine.

#4.The Replays were great. I especially liked the way that you could view the last part of the race at the same time that your credits were adding up for the race.

#5.A new feature added was that in the easier modes you had a brake and accelerator assist that would automatically help you through a tight corner so you would have fewer accidents.

#6.If you had an accident or ran off the track you could rewind the game before the incident had happened and continue the race.

#7.I'm not sure if this is a new feature or not but, if you entered a race that you were having a lot of trouble getting through, you could restart the race and Hire a Driver. In the easier modes this driver would almost always come in first. In the harder modes the driver would get at least second or third.

#8.You have 5 different modes for racing. Easy,Medium,Hard,Advanced and Expert.If you are a novice like me you will probably be going back and forth from Easy to Medium and maybe Hard.I know it can be done but I just don't see how anyone can race in the Advanced and Expert. I about gave myself a hernia trying.

#9.The sound effects were average but the graphics were excellent. The cars were beautiful and the tracks were great looking (a lot of new ones)The scenery was great and a couple were really breathtaking. Wait till you see the Fujimi Kaido track. The graphics in the villages were also remarkable.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone.There are hundreds of races involved and many hours of racing in this game.

I have been a very big fan of Gran Turismo ever since 3. Forza 1 + 2 just did not cut the cake at all when it was compared to Gran Turismo. Gran Turismo had such more detail in every aspect of design, menu layout and car detail, such as moving parts (spoilers) and catless exhaust backfire. Though Forza 3 still does not have those two details, the physics and track detail ARE AMAZING. The physics feel spot on. The ability to do engine/drivetrain swaps are awesome and the graphics are to die for. Turn10 really stepped up their game and really went for the checkered flag on this one. They are now saying this is graphically better than Gran Turismo 5 which is releasing soon. As a long time Gran Turismo fan, I can sad gladly that you won't be disappointed by Forza 3.

this game is the best out there and i'm for sure it can beat any future games that will come later. the best graphics out there in the market and i enjoyed every single penny i spent ,it was worth every penny. for all of you buyers i would let u now if u into real racing game well u should pick this piece of chocolate.

It's so realistic, especially compared to other competitor racing games. My husband loves it! Definitely a game for the car lovers. Can do so many things to the cars, and real racing venues!

What an awesome game! I have always loved any type of racing game and was a follower of the PS-2 game of Gran Turismo. This has become just as good or even better. I am impressed with the ability to "tweak" the cars in tuning, and the ability to upload pictures of the cars in action to a personal shop. The road racing game has come once again to a new level and with X-Box its name is FORZA MOTORSPORT 3!

The game is great. The graphics could be better, but on many tracks the visuals are really great. Tracks imported from F2 look so-so. This is the complete Forza experience, it combines the best of F1 & F2. The tacky music from F2 is gone, and the menu has been overhauled and looks great (more like GT5P). There are many new car models and tracks. Driving physics are very good but not completely on par with real driving for almost all AWD cars. But then again, its just a game and is ment for fun not to simulate driving. If you are into cars and play video games, you'll be addicted in no time. I picked up my sealed copy for $50 shipped, so it was a great buy.

i really like this game it is better designed than the last one.... the only thing that i did not like is the layout maybe its jsut me, but it is kind of confussing sometimes.
