Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox 360

In the area of racing simulations, there is a lot of preference as to: how realistic do you want to go? Well, there are adjustable difficulties in Forza 2 so you can be as real as you'd like. With everything turned up, the game is very real. I can tell that the car's I've driven in real life perfom scary close to their real life counterparts. It's about as realistic as you'd want to go in a game, this has come up in PC simulations: if you go too realistc, the game becomes neigh on impossible to play(since you don't have the feel of the car and the like).
The audio is most likley pulled from real cars as well, since the sounds are just as realisitc. When I put a sport exhaust on a car, it sounds like the real car with cat back exhaust. Do some headwork, and you can hear the cam.
The damage model is also very good. You can see buckles in body panels and scratches in paint...broken glass, etc. This doesn't actually cost you any money, except when racing. In races, you get charged a "damage penalty which is about like you paying for the damage out of your winnings.
Final words: This is a perfect game for people who want a realistic sim for a game console, or for fans of the Gran Turismo series who don't want to get a PS3.
