Tom Hanks is such a wonderful actor. In this movie he portrays a mentally challanged person. His journey through life involves joining the Army, meeting the president, buying a shrimp boat and trying to win over his true love.

Its really a great movie for everyone. It can show that just cause you may not be like others, you can still achieve your dreams and goals in life.

I really enjoyed watching this movie with my children.

The story of Forrest Gump is truly one-of-a-kind. You have never seen a movie like it. And perhaps never will again. Forrest takes you on a little journey telling various incredible stories about his life experiences. And what a life he has had. A few of his stories amount to nothing more than dumb luck. Some stories teach you a thing or two about life and love through the eyes of Forrest Gump. His unconditional & undying love for Jenny is really cool. He has traveled the country far and wide. He even has stories about being in the military. The imagination of Forrest Gump has a very wide range. The life experiences are unparalelled. This movie is a MUST SEE before you die. Life just wouldn't be complete without having seen Forrest Gump. You will laugh. And you will cry. Mostly laugh though. But I can assure all 17 people that haven't seen this movie are really missing something. It is one for the DVD collection for all times! Enjoy!

I really do like the movie.. but when it is a STOLEN COPY such as this one... no way! shame on you ! my advice for the movie lovers, looking to buy ... don't buy these STOLEN DVD's!

tom hanks portrayal of a mentally challenged man is so beautiful and tragic. his unwavering love for long time friend Jenny, and his friendships with Bubba and Lt.Dan are amazing and heartbreaking all at once.

Wonderful movie. Heart-breaking, a real tear-jerker. Great story line, sad but definately a movie that catches your attention for the entire show. The characters are great, and you feel connected with them.

I absolutely love this movie and think it is one of Tom Hanks best! This movie came out when I was in middle school and my brother and I watched it so many times that we knew every line in the movie. I am just getting around to finally getting it on DVD!

Can you get any better than the irony of Forrest Gump. The answer is no. The major Historical figures and groups really bold the personality of the movie. One of the main reasons I like this movie so much is because Forrest takes things so literal. If you never seen this movie that's fine but this movie is a classic and it should be in your collection. This is one my favorite movies of all time. It's grabs your attention from start to finish ,and I'm also a Tom Hanks fan. He definitely plaid his role in this movie. If you plan on making it a movie night or you just wanna cuddle and watch movies grab Forrest Gump.

Ok we have mostly all seen this one and if you haven't seen it you must live under a rock. Buy it, rent it, borrow it, but you GOTTA SEE IT!
Tom Hanks and Sally Field and Robin Wright Penn do an excellent job, and I love the soundtrack. Reminds me of my childhood.
