Obviously an exhaustive research about the Great Depression from the view of the movers and the shakers of the times. Written almost like a text book, it has an enormous amount of information following all the key players of the day. Historically, it parallels the current economic situation in America and voters need to be careful not to elect another canidate that sounds a lot like FDR this election. Hold on tight, America! Seems to me like we are in for a repeat of history.
The vocabulary in this book is tough even for devout readers but keep the dictionary handy and you will learn a lot!
