Forgotten Flies by Ingrid V. Sils, Paul Schmookler (1999, Book, Illustrated)

This is a top quality book on dry flies, wet flys, and streamers developed through the efforts of Ray Bergman, Charles Defeo, Preston Jennings, Mary Orvis Marbury, and Carrie stevens. Anyone who is interested in these tyers and/or their flies should consider this to be the number one book in their pursonal library. This is a fly pattern book with a short histoy on each of the tyers included. There are over 1000 fly patterns with a picture and the recipe for each fly. The book is out of print and has become much sought after. The authors, printers, pattern tyers, and all concerned produced a qualty product using only the best materials in my personal opinion.
