Throughout his illustrious career, Bobby Brown has shown that no one else can do what he does as well as he does it. His vocal style is unique and extremely recognizable. Above all, Brown is an exceptional entertainer, a performer who sings, dances, and interacts well with his audience. Even after years of experience which have turned him into an R&B veteran, Brown is still the center of attention, expected to prove himself once again to the public.
Rather than jump on the bandwagon, Bobby Brown has decided to remain true to himself. With FOREVER, he sticks to the formula that has made him famous. He doesn't utilize the producers that dominate today's R&B scene, but instead sings over tracks that he feels comfortable with. The production is funky as always, and his lyrics are honest. On "She's All I Need," Brown proclaims to wife Whitney Houston (who appears on this album) that she is the only one.
