Synopsis
Alexander Cold finds himself on another exciting adventure with his grandmother, journalist Kate Cold, and his good friend, Nadia Santos. A report on an environmentally-oriented elephant safari is the focus of their last-minute trip to Kenya. Just before joining the safari, Alex and Nadia visit a voodoo priestess in a colorful local market, who delivers a warning that their survival depends on their staying together. The purpose of this ominous advice is clear when an impromptu trip to save two missionaries crash-lands them in a forest where they uncover a hidden world of enslaved Pygmies, evil sorcery, and rampant brutality. Closely in touch with their totemic animal spirits, Jaguar and Eagle, Alex and Nadia will have to call on them in a heroic attempt to free the Pygmies.
