Forces of Nature (DVD, 1999)

I'd seen this movie years ago (about 8 years ago or so) and decided to check it out again. The movie talks primarily about marriage a lot of the things to consider about it. Of course, this movie probably was never intended to be a replacement to a marriage counselor, or if you're having a hard time deciding if you should marry your fiancee, this movie should probably not be your guide to making a good decision. The philosophy in the movie follows the drama and storyline typical of a hollywood tale.

The humor in the movie in unbelievable. Very funny indeed! Acting is good, but definitely one of Ben Stiller's not-so-great ones. Sandra Bullock does a real nice job, though, as do most other actors in the movie. My favorite thing about this movie, though, is the cinematography. Very clever, unusual, and unique angles and transitions. Great movie, makes for a good gift or an addition to a personal movie collection. Great price, too, since the quality of the dvd and its features are just as good as any nowadays, even though the movie in from last century, back in the 1900's when humans thought they could make dvd's...

Very good movie. of course I am a Sandra Bullock fan anyway and would watch her even if she played olive oyl in popeye. Ben Afleck brought the chemistry together and made this one worth watching

After debuting with the charming but forgettable family flick Harriet the Spy, director Bronwen Hughes proved herself to be a director not really worth watching by taking a stab at this cliché, opposites-attract romantic comedy. Forces of Nature doesn't offer up anything new to the ubiquitous genre, with the male protagonist trying to get to his wedding to marry the woman who is almost perfect, but just seems to be missing something, when along comes the fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants, slightly eccentric woman who "changes everything." From there, the movie tries to become a sort of romantic Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but falls short of capturing any of the good qualities that that film so effortlessly pulls off. But many romantic comedies work quite well, despite the familiarity of their story lines, because they feature a likeable, charming couple. Because of this, the majority of the blame for Forces of Nature's downfall should probably be pinned on Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock. Not only do they have no onscreen chemistry, but they were just plain miscast in the roles. Unless pressed for time and in need of a headache, one would be advised to pass this one up and instead take in a double feature of My Best Friend's Wedding and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The best ever movie I saw it.5 of 5 .A great movie and you cant beat it.A nice love story and some accidents.Even in india they made a copy in their language and they stole story and scenes too.In France they made a copy too. however this is the movie to watch

Its a great movie. Really funny! Not one of his best movies but she is an amazing actress and can really make any movie great!! I would recommend to anyone. Good date movie!
