Flowers A to Z With Donna Dewberry by Donna S. Dewberry (2004, Paperback)

I absolutely love this book. I read and studied the techniques from cover to cover. This book shows how to paint 50 flowers. I have not painted anything yet but it sure is inspirational and I have a nice selection of paints I bought from the local craft store. If you are a Donna Dewberry One-Stroke painting fan, this book has so much you can do on the way to learning to paint beautiful flowers, the easy way! I found this book very comprehensive and easy to use.

BIG pictures showing lots of detail. Suggested colors to use and where to start first. Easy and fun! Highly recommended!

As a teacher of One Stroke painting, I am always looking for ways to "stay ahead of my students" This book really helps. There are examples of flowers, painted by Donna, of dozens of flowers with instructions. If a student wants to paint a foxglove, for example, I now have a complete guide for a flower that isn't found in her other books. I highly recommend this valuable and beautiful book.

As a professional artist I literally found myself curling up in bed just poring over the illustrations and the simplicity of technique. Even though it covers flowers, I found a launching point for some other creative inspirations between the pages and different approaches to my craft that I had not expected. Get it. You won't be sorry that you did.

The illustrations of flowers are very bold, colorful and easy to follow when painting duplicating pictures. I am very pleased with this book. IN my paint class, other students are using this book to follow when doing their paintings. I now understand why they like this book so well.
