Flower Power (CD, Nov-2007, 10 Discs, Time/Life Music)

I am an aging-ungracefully hippie chick who wanted an easy, compact set of the best music from that startling and lovable era. The quality of this set is excellent and the songs are smartly-chosen. I think you will be as content with it as I am.

I had seen this last year and waited until I found a good price and I finally did. This is a 10 CD collection of favorites from the 60's Flower Power Era - the songs range from "Leaving on a Jet Plane" to "Radar Love" from "Blowin in the Wind" to "Nights in White Satin". If you were old enough to be singing to all the late 60's songs this is a perfect collection for you. I have them on my CD player in my car and although I enjoy music by many of today's artists I already know most of the words to these songs. These are a great stress reliever and makes driving back and forth to work a better experience. Buy it! Great for parties and long car trips. Nice variety.

It takes me back to the days of my childhood. The hippie scene was crazy and i was lucky enough to see it thru the eyes of a 10 year old. The songs are great and the set really covers the era well!

This is the best set to get. It has so many great songs that i grew up with. I would reccomend this great set to anyone!!
