Florida Gardener's Guide by Georgia B. Tasker, Tom MacCubbin (2002, Paperback, Revised)

This book is great. My wife and I just moved into our first house in Saint Lucie County and the landscaping is almost none. We have lived in Florida less than one year and wanted to have a very natural landscaping design with mostly native species to encourage wildlife and beauty. This book clearly identifies the proper plants, care for those plants and other very interesting information about the plants. The book is easy to follow and the little pictographs for each plant are great for a quick reference to pare down to the exact type of plant you want quickly and easily.

I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking to do landscaping in any part of Florida. Each zone is clearly identifies and each plant species is noted with the appropriate zone for planting.
