Float Tube Fly Fishing by Deke Meyer (1989, Paperback)

This book has a lot of stories about fly fishing utilizing a float tube which is entertaining but not all that informative. The information given on Fly Fishing with a Float Tube could have been more detailed. The section on choosing equipment is good but limited. The use of equipment is limited which should be expounded upon. Nothing was given on making changes to the equipment to fit an individual. Helpful hints and tips are scattered throughout the text, basically in the stories, which makes using a float tube enjoyable and safe. Good job on describing how to enter and leave the water while wearing a float tube. Overall, the book is a good read but lacks the essentials that should be included. For the only book that I've seen on the maket on the subject of utilizing a Float Tube for Fishing of any kind is very good but could be improved.
