Huskers break it big
Here we see Husker Du evolving from the indie-punk underground to see the light of day. The songs still retain some of the grit of their earlier work, although nothing near as hardcore. That said, the songwriting is vintage Hart/Mould. The songs were mostly tidy 3 minute tunes that encapsulated many of the same feelings of the earlier Zen Arcade. I like "Flip Your Wig", "Divide and Conquer", and "Hate Paperdoll" the best. Other tracks are all listenable and good. I'm not sure what to make of "The Baby Song".
