Flight of the Conchords: The Complete First Season (DVD, 2007)

I love this show! The comedy is witty and recurring. It has very good continuity and lots of very minute pieces of wit or themes that are hard to get at first. But if you like this kind of humor it sets in after a few episodes. It had great songs too. A few are cheesy or just outright dumb, but I'd say 98% of the songs are AMAZING, SMART AND FUNNY! The accents are great, and the manager/consulate is great too! BUY IT!

If you could somehow bottle NZ-style humour, then sprinkle it onto a dvd and watch it, you would end up with Fligt of the Conchords. I LOVE this dvd set. Brett and Jermaine's dry wit is sardonically hysterical and the added bonus of ingenious melodies that range from ghetto rap to melodic ballads just completes the entire package. Definately NZ's best export!!

I bought this after a friend showed it too me and I couldn't be happier. I've watched all 12 episodes once through, and it's time for round two! Should be even better this time.

I love the show. It was hillarious. Jemaine and Bret are comical geniuses. It came quickly and in great codidition.

I started watching this and thought it was just a normal sitcom but it turns out that it's far from it. It's a show about two New Zealanders who are in an unsuccessful band who are trying to get "gigs". The thing is the band breaks out in to mini videos and they're really good. It's a lot like the Saturday night shorts (D*ck in a box, etc.). The point is, it's hilarious. A must see definitely.

Funny, smart, infectious, good fun, and good music! What else could you ask for? Buy it and you won't regret it =)

Season 2 is so funny we had to buy Season 1. It's as great as the second season. Let's hope the boys give us a Season 3.

Not being an HBO Subscriber, I was introduced to "Flight of the Conchords" via YouTube (and good friends)and decided to purchase a copy of the first season. I have not been disappointed! Though a scant 12 episodes comprise the first season, it is superbly written. The acting is also spot on, raising the simply ridiculous to the absolutely sublime ... and here is where the comedy lies: in the genuineness of the "band," their manager, and their "uber-fan" who are all somehow out of tune with the real world. It's a scenario that lends itself well to the music and even more to the parody. Enjoy!

i dislike how bad a seller this store is...i ordered a dvd for my g/f's birthday 2 weeks ago and i just got my confirmation that my item has been shipped. shittay policy to wait to receive feedback before sending someone there item i say . f these guys.

I bought this as a Chritmas present for my 16 yr. daughter. She loves it! I watched a little of it,it didn't do anything for me,but I'am not 16 anymore. If she's happy that's all that matters

This is one of the best shows on TV, but the DVD was just...okay.
It has all the episodes and that's great, but it doesn't have ANY special features. So if someone DVRed the episodes of used TiVo, then don't bother buying the DVD unless you plan on watching it somewhere other than your TV.

It's not life changing or anything, but if you like goofy, clever humor like 30 Rock, or the Office, you will enjoy Flight of the Conchords. Very smart and subtle humor - very entertaining!

Awesome show with great humor! I do not have HBO so it was great to have this DVD. Unique humor that is rarely shown and very funny. Also, hilarious songs.

this type of humor is definitely not for everyone... but I love it. pretty dry and at times awkward. the songs are the best part.
