In the battle between good and evil, only the strong survive! Im a medieval peroid nut, I liked this movie for years, the warfare engines, biological warfare etc, the unrated version shows a bit of nudity and blood. I couldnt forget seeing jennifer jason leigh bare, it was implanted in my mind at a young age! haha

An epic adventure surrounding a band of mercenaries who are betrayed by a nobleman. Their revenge is to kidnap the fiancee of the nobleman's son. Then the real "fun" starts. This is not the usual love story as such and the "romantic triangle" is far from traditional, in fact it's progress can be alarming. This is not a "pretty fairy-tale" movie but a brutal honest film about how life was in 1500's, definitely not some 'Robin Hood' for kiddies!

Good movie. Rutgar Hauer is awesome in this movie. I like how the nobleman got revenge by poisoning the water.

The movie has been one of the hardest ones for me to find, I am so thrilled to have found it on EBAY it is just the way that I remember it to, I seen it when it first came out & I love it!!! This movie was pretty good, I wouldn't say excellent, but definitely worth seeing. The violence and warfare are pretty good, which is pretty much the point of seeing this movie. I recommend this movie for anyone who likes medieval movies or warfare.
