The best teen spy books I have read. Fast, fun and emotional. Jason is not a true Spy, he happens to be in the right place at the wrong time.
Its very much like Alex Rider or a Cherub book, however Jason Steed is more real to life, he does actually cry in once scene when he gets shot.
The chapter on an aircraft is one of the most emotional chapters I have ever read.
The book is simply amazing.

Jason Steed is very much like a Young Jason Bourne / New 007. He does not use gadets like James Bond or Alex Rider he uses what he can find with his hands and feet.
Unlike the Alex Rider, Jimmy Coates and Cherub books by authors such as Anthony Horowitz and Joe Craig (Daniel Craig's couson) Jason Steed is a normal boy. He has feelings and even sheds a tear when he is hurt. The story has some very emotional parts and is a great coming of age novel. However all along Jason Steed turns into a teenage spy. He have an encounter with the British Royal family that is pretty realistic.
Jason Steed has been name the new young 007 by many critics, I feel he is better than Bond and is more like a new Jason Bourne. Or Jason Bourne as a Boy.

Malia Obama the Presidents daughter speaking on Teen Zone TV, gave her list of five favorite things. Malia Obama's favorite book; FLEDGLING JASON STEED.
