Flashdance [Remaster] by Original Soundtrack (CD, Jul-1998, Mercury)

This was bought as a gift. The recipient loves it. Sounds as good or better than the original. I would reccomend this CD for anyone who loves the oldies.

Excellent music on this disk. In my opinion the music is better than the actual movie. A must have CD!

Short review: I wanted to replace my old, worn out cassette version and this CD definitely fit the bill. The CD played great and created that great 80s sound. Flashdance of course is also a movie, which, after watching it, you'll want this music as well. Buy it used, though.

I remember the movie & when it was shown on TVland I forgot what great music was on the soundtrack. I wanted to get to hear the songs again.

If you like the great classic and want to see the dance that was made so popular in this movie - I think you will enjoy seeing it again or for the first time. If you get it in its original vhs, it won't compare to a dolby version of today but that is the way it sounded when it was made. Great movie and music
