This book is about 6 men made famous by one photograph. That photograph is The raising of the American Flag on Mount Suribachi. Follow the story of these six men and how their destinies found each other in One moment of time. This book is the one of the best stories on what Happened on Iwo Jima. This is an amazing true story on what makes Heroes and why that was the hardest battle America every fought. I have no dislikes about this book. It is worth every penny to read.

) This book was bought for my wife after the company that she works for
had the Author in to give a lecture... Pat was so interested in the
topic that's all she talked about for days... She said that I would
have enjoyed it also... So I thought my wife who loves to read anyway

) The book was intense. I had a hard time putting it down. Sometimes I needed the break. I enjoyed the history, learning what it was all about. Sometimes a bit graphic, I suppose that is how life is. Thank you
