A Lower Middle Class Mulligan Stew of Recipes
3 of 14 people found this review helpful.
This book is basically for working class folksy church type people who dont't know much or care much about what they eat as long as it suits their palate going down. Many of the recipes in this conglomeration of submissions from various people call for such things as adding a can of mushroom soup (presumably the salty Campbell's soup), american cheese, kielbasa, etc., etc. You know the drill. It's recipes for the sort of food you might encounter at Aunt Sally and Uncle Fred's Protestant parish picnic, if you know what I mean. There are however a few recipes that look as though they are healthy.
