Fix-It And Forget-It Big Cookbook by Phyllis Pellman Good (2008, Hardcover)

This book was on my daughter-in-law's Christmas wish list. Lots of slow cooker recipes in a well organized format with lots of photos. She loved it!

I was looking for new recipes to try out and being a mom of three, I don't have alot of time to spend on meals. So I saw this cookbook on one of the home shopping channels selling for about $25.00. I almost ordered it but decided to shop around first. This is where I found the best price by far. I've tried some of the recipes and they have all been great. The only thing is I wish there were more pictures of the recipes. I've always like the cookbooks with pictures. But,nonetheless, this is still a good cookbook at a great price. Thanks for another great experience on ebay.

This is a great cook book for the working family as most of us are. Great wholesome recipes that most love! (Even the picky eaters!!)

When i d0nt feel like cooking this is the perfect idea. great ideas, inspiring and great recipes as well. Tons of ideas! Some i just read it and end up planing out meals for days.... works for me!

This is a great book for anyone with a slow cooker. The recipes are simple and easy to follow and the ingredients are easy to find at the grocery store. There is a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone, and the recipes are very easy to "tweak" if you want to leave something out or add something in, or even make a smaller portion for 2 people instead of 4.

This cookbook is very comprehensive and easy to understand for the average cook. It encompasses a great deal of variety of food types and variations on a normally misunderstood method of cooking. My daughter and I have various books by the author on this method of slow cooking, and we both are thrilled to have acquired this book at such a low price. I don't believe that anyone could expect to find such a compendium of recipes for family cooking anywhere else.

This is a very good book. You can find just about any recipe for anything to cook in a slow cooker. The book itself is enormous! It reminds me of a huge bible my parents had on our coffee table growing up(you know, the one you were never aloud to touch!) I really don't have any complaints, if you are looking for the most thorough slow cooker you can buy, then this is as close as I believe you are going to get. I don't think I could even really comment on any of the recipes because there are 1400 and there is most certainly something in this book for everyone. You will enjoy this book.

I love this book it has alot of great recipes in it i first saw it on QVC to much but found it on ebay the best way to find anything,being a buzy MOM of 1 cant do much but find a recipe and slow cooker it.Some recipes you can just use the oven if you have to.
