Good Things Come in Small Packages

Generally when I see such a small book, I think that the writer is just capitalizing on some trend, getting a book into print quickly, without much to say or that it's a specialty type release, just fluff and not much else.
However, in Mitch Albom's case, he's one of those people who writes just what he needs to to make his point, tell his story, and stops there, no need to pad, no need to write a book to a certain expected size or number of pages. This book was just the right length, spare, yet beautiful, lean but totally engaging. When you reach the end, you feel you've been told a complete story, a wonderfully compelling tale, all in one nice, neat small package.
No matter what your beliefs (or lack thereof), his story of Eddie and his last day and what follows should keep you interested from the first page to the last.
