The Five People You Meet in Heaven (DVD, 2005)

This movie is wonderful!
I felt better after watching this than I after church on Sundays, and I feel awesome after church!!
I felt that the character was well developed, the acting was great and the message was clear.

I loved this movie very much so. The story was written in such a way that it brings you right into the story. It kept me interested the whole time. I'm a curious person about heaven and god and all that so this was perfect for me. I recently lost my dad to cancer and really need some answers to very important questions and this movie has me on the right path. I do have the other book "For one more day" but i might just wait until they make the movie because it's something you really need to see and to feel all the emotions involved. I truely recommend this to anyone and everyone. It really put's some things into perspective. This is a movie I will watch over and over and share with others. I gave it to my mom, we shall see. Thankyou for the chance to review this and share.

How do I begin...

I just watched this movie for the first time. I have to say that it catupluted to be one of my favorite movies. This movie is perspective changing. It had a tremendous effect on me. And, if you let it... if you let it overtake you, it could do the same to you.

This movie reminds you that no matter how insignificant your life may seem, it matters. Your existance plays n intregal part, if only indirectly, on so many others' lives. you bgin to understand that all action has a reaction, even though you may not be aware of it.

I have always believed this idea... I have always known it. But, this movie drives it home. This is a movie that I would tell everyone that they absolutely should see it. It will either reinforce your beliefs or perhaps bring you closer to a greater understanding.

I liked the movie because it shows us how important each one of us are,and the influence,though what we say and do to others,can have a large impact in the course of ones life.We are all valuable,to each other, even if you think,your actions don't matter to any one.I decide to buy this movie after I had seen a clip of it.

My husband and I applaude the message of this great movie. It states that no matter how insignificant you think your daily life may be; it's not. Every life has a purpose and a destiny and we do have positive effects on others and never realize it. Great movie with a deep message.

This Movie was to amazing not to watch 2 or 3 times . It gives a account of a mans life and how everything happens and how it affects. In the Hear After you see What affects your actions have on people you may not even know. But it shows the real world and how every action may or may not have a Re-Action that Effects someone else's life to change thier direction or re-direction in thier life . At*At*At from this Veiwer. For All Ages ,but smaller ones might not get the meaning . At Times it is complex, but an Adult will get overwhelming get the meaning .

This is a very thought provoking movie. Teaches us that no matter how insignificant or unimportant we feel, our lives do matter and each and every one of us touch the lives of countless others. You will find yourself teary eyed as certain events unfold. Contains some very memorable scenes, like the little girl with burns on her face and arms.

This is a story about a carnival worker who dies in a tragic accident while trying to save a little girl. One by one, he meets five people in heaven who's lives he touched while on earth.

Whether we realize it or not, we are all connected in the web of life. A very inspirational movie. It may make you shed a tear, but it is very, very good.

The best film I have ever seen about how each one of us impacts another's life. If you ever doubted that we are connected and that we all interact and have meaning in other lives, you need to watch this movie. This one is that needs to added to everyone's movie library. Utterly amazing, is all I can say!!

This movie is a keeper, and I can say that about only a few these days. It touchs the foundmental concept that we are all a part of a larger scheme of things. This movie keeps me grounded. I rank this movie as 5 stars, and feel that an equivilant movie to this would be "Big Fish"..another warm and touching "keeper" film.

This is an exedllent movie that brings home the fact that our lives touch every person we meet. There are some war scenes that may be too strong for younger viewers.

This is one of the best movies out there. When your down or feeling like your not amounting to much, watch this movie! It will make you feel good about where you are in your life or it will motivate you to be a better person. Remember, be sure and bring along the kleenex box when viewing this movie!

My friend loved it. She said it was actlly what she thought the peopl would look like in reall life. JUST AWESOME

I saw this movie on cable TV a few years ago, after I read the book. It was on again one day after my stepmother passed away this October. It was a great idea to buy it for my father, he and Eddie had a few things in common. I had forgotten how this movie actually did the book some justice, which is often not the case.

Another book, by Mitch Albom, that everyone should read and own. You will want to read it again and and again.

Interesting view of who impacts your life. How you see people and they see you. Sad and happy moments. Kind of slow in the beginning and hard to follow but then you realize they are showing parts in flash-backs. The movie does that with every person he meets, making him understand a little more with each one.

It was uplifting, it is feasible, it is interesting, I have not been to Heaven, that I recall, but I liked seeing him get answers to his questions / problems. He was just an ordinary man, he thought he was a failure but found out he was a hero to many people, that would be a good day.

I have known our lives are intertwined for years, that what we do and say has far reaching effects on others. I have learned people are watching me that I do not even know. I learn from watching others and how they handle various situations, some I like, some I would do different - but it gives me a "track to run on," others learn things they like and dislike from watching me.

I have not watched this DVD yet, it came on TV so I watched it there. I bought a copy for a friend, I thought why don't I get a copy of it for me as well - so I did, this one. I have seen this movie twice, both times on TV.

I loved that movie. It was on the Hallmark channel earlier tonight - 10/11/08 in the evening or 10/12/08 in the very early morning. That reminded me to get the DVD. I loved it. I bawled.

It really gives one a dose of reality, as to the importance of each of us and how intertwined we really are. The nurse and I were talking about different movies at the my doctors office and she recommended this movie to me. It has some reknowned actors in it is a wonderful movie, I sobbed like a baby at the end of the movie. Very moving, would recommend to anyone going down any path in life.

I bought this movie for my girlfriend who had asked me for it. I had never even heard of it, but did so for her. I was very pleased when we watched it. It definitely caught my attention and was very well done. I watch movies for the enjoyment of the movie and not to analyze camera angles and plots, so this is just my opinion and I loved the movie and really enjoyed it.

I had intended on purchasing the book and came across the dvd and decided to buy it. I loved the movie, it was everything the reviews from others described it to be...Not a dry eye in the room..I still intend on reading the book. I highly recommend this movie !!!...It made me think back on my life and the people who influenced me the most...

this is one of the best movies ever done, we rented it last weekend and the wife said we had to have it

Great movie!!! I suggest you read the book first. Mitch Albom is an incredible writer! This movie makes you think about your own life! It shows you that nothing happens by accident! You will enjoy!!!
