Halter Horse
I bought this book because I needed help learning how to square up my horse when I'm showing him at halter. My trainer showed me a bit of how to get him to stand, and I've seen other exhibitors set their horses up by fooling with the lead rope and halter, but I never understood what they were doing. You have such a short time in the ring and before the judge to get the horse to co-operate. This book explains how to set the horse up and is chock full of other good, useful advice. Even though it was written in 1980 all the information is still current. The only thing that wouldn't apply in this day and age is, perhaps the way the people in the pictures are dressed.
