Fisher-Price, 1931-1963 by Murray (1991, Paperback)

I purchased this book to help me in identify and pricing items for my eBay Store. I was very excited about receiving the book. Once I got the book and looked inside my enthusiasm left very quickly. The 'Cover' of the book is 'very' bright, colorful & 'appetizing' for what I hoped was inside. I purchased this book in 2007 - an age of great technology - especially when it comes to photographs so I had "high hopes" & great anticipation. Once inside, the pictures were not nearly so clear, bright, colorful & vivid. They looked 'almost faded' . . . Truly disappointing ~ a great let down after the colorful outside cover. Looks like they used all their printers ink on the outside cover and ran out of ink for the inside.I have a much older Fisher Price book that I purchased "used" and it's pictures are much better for detail and color. It has proven to be more helpful as far as detail than the newer book. I have wondered if they are 'all' like this. I paid for a first quality book. Maybe I received a 'second'. I cannot say. But for the 'price' it was truly disappointing.
