At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks (2005, Unabridged, Compact Disc)

i LOVED THAT THE EVENTS WERE NOT PREDICTABLE. THE REASON I BOUGHT IT IS BECUASE ALLL HIS AUDIOS GIVE HOURS OF DRIVING PLEASURE. THIS AUTHOR IS IN MY MIND ALONG THE LINES OF PAULO COEHLO. ANYONE THAT ENJOYS ONE WOULD PROBABLY ENJOY THE OTHER. I MUST MENTION THAT NICHOLAS SPARKS IS PROBABLY THE AUTHOR DEALING MORE WITH REAL LIFE.

I love Nicholas Sparks and since I commute 2 hours a day, it is the perfect opportunity to listen to audio books. You just never see the ending to this one coming and it is such a great love story.

This book is one of the best Nicholas Sparks has written. It is captivating. A book one can LIVE thru.
I bought the book because I have been trying to buy all this Author's work.

Actually this is the sequal to "True Believers". If you read or listen to "True Belivers" it introduces and prepares you for what happens in "At First Sight" Both seem slow at the start but when they get moving it is hard to stop the CD for anything else in your life. The accent is definately east coast North Carolina.

Another great book by Nicholas Sparks.

I listened to this book on audio. I don't have time to read books, so I listen to them while I cook or clean the kitchen.

The title of this book, at first, I was not interested in it. But, I checked it out at the library since the other audio book was checked out.

At first, I did not like the readers voice. It was hard to get interested in the story. But, after the first chapter I was wanting to listen to more and more of the book.

The book's characters are kinda corny, especially when the reader puts in a Arkansas or Louisiana or Gerorgian accent to the voice of the character.

All the way through until almost the end of the book, I kept wondering what the title had anything to do with the story. Why did the author 'title' his book this way? Not until almos the end, did I finally figure it out!

After you finish listening to this book, you are sad that it has ended. I was thinking, I will miss those characters! The characters kinda grow on you.

I do like Nicholas Sparks books because the ending is very different than most books. They don't always end like you would imagine.

Having heard this audio book after borrowing a library copy I felt it would be a wonderful book for my 14 year old granddaughter. In this day and age it is so unusual to find a clean, refreshing book that I'm not concerned to let any one listen to.
