Seems to romantisize the love of a child versus the realities of raising one, somewhat disjoint, rare condition and consequesnce could give young readers a false idea the chances of events that could happen, but a good story with some good role modeling of male behaviors.

"The First Part Last" is a twisting tail that explains what it is like to be a teenage father, and the decisions that lead to that position in life. The emotion and struggle presented in this book is one that every Young Adult needs to hear.
