First Meals by Annabel Karmel (2004, Hardcover)

I like this book so much. It tells you in detail how to make baby food. Then, it also gives you recipes for the more advanced baby foods (like casseroles). And, my son absolutely loves these recipes. I only wish I had had this book with my daughter 2 years ago.

The recipes are all very healthy. Each recipe tells you which vitamins/minerals are in it. And, most recipes all give suggested fruit/veggie alternatives in case a baby is allergic or doesn't like it or just for a change.

There are also great snack ideas and meal ideas for toddlers. From pinwheel sandwiches to birthday cake recipes. There is something for every baby and toddler in this book.

An excellent book, well set out, good ideas for introducing foods to a baby. Some of the instructions are more detailed than needed but it's better to have more information than not enough. Very well illustrated.

Out of all the baby food books out there I like this one the best. The pictures are a great tool! I checked out many books before getting this one and I have since kept only this book for reference.

This is an amazing book! I don't know how my son survived his second year without me having it! Very creative and inspiring! Must Have!Please do yourself a favor and purchase this book!

This book goes into great detail and feedings for babies, toddlers, and young children. The pictures are excellent! The wording is great! The recipes aren't difficult and are also healthy! I also purchased this book because the price was very reasonable in comparison to other book stores and companies.

This book is awesome!! Lots of great ideas on food preparation, storage and meal planning for all ages of children. Easy to follow directions and plenty of photos. By no means is this book a dull read like some cookbooks.

This book contains details about what foods are best to introduce when, and with easy to follow directions for preparation. This is a great resource for a busy mom looking to nurious their little one the best way-naturally! Very easy recipes with very good information!
