Insight to a hero
Nice picture of an American hero we all wish we knew. We get a chance to see just what type of person becomes an astronaut. Not only Neal but we get to see the character of several of the early space pioneers.
If you want to see what kind of “Stuff” makes up the “Right Stuff’, then check out “First Man.
Although this book gives us more about Armstrong after the moon than any other, I hoped for more insight on the weight of being the “First Man’’ to walk the earth after visiting another heavenly body. The Issues of “Buzz” Aldrin have been well documented. NASA knew that Neal would handle it differently.
