A First Course in Abstract Algebra by John B. Fraleigh, Victor J. Katz (2002, Hardcover, Illustrated)

The sender never sent me the book which is why I filed a claim. I ordered it over 30 days ago and it is still not here yet. I think the sender took my money and ran. So I am just waiting for ebay to return my money.

I received the soft cover and the title of the book specifies that it was hardcover. My book is falling apart right now because it is a soft cover and I carry my book around with me everywhere. It sucks that it is already falling apart and I barely started the quarter.

I bought the solution manual about two months ago. Instead of receiving the actual book, I had no idea I purchased an online solution manual, which is good because that way I do not have to carry the book with me at all time. The solution manual is saved in my e-mail and in my USB drive. Whether I am in the libray or at work, I can always get in the computer and get the answers to my homework anywhere I go. My school does not have the solution manual for abstract algebra, so I am glad I have the copy.

The delivery came within expected time period – even a bit earlier than I would have expected. Book was in great condition. No problems at all.

Great problems, definitely needs a teacher to supplement the material though. A little too many proof problems.

This textbook is not just a international version. It is a low price ecition. Not only that the paper is cheap acid paper, the page number is different. In addition, the copy I got misses some pages, so I ended up copying the pages from another classmate.
I should have bought normal international version. The piture was US version, and the product discription does not mention it is not reguler international edition, so I had no way to know it was low price edition.

I have bought this book between late August and early september and it is now October. It promised that it will arrive on 21st of September because it was shipped by media mail. but when i contact the seller, he told me to wait till the 28th of Septmber.
This date is already later than the original promised date and i have a midterm coming up on the 25th of September!

I was quite dissapointed beacuse i have to keep on borrowing someone elses book to do my homework.

Today is the 5th of October and the book is not here yet.
I am very angry and hope to get an explaination. I am a student and i think a punctual text book is really important. My semester has already pass one third and my book is still not here. what am i going to do?

I got my book like in 2 weeks. i want to thank you for helping me save 60 dollars. The book is just the original but 60 dollars cheaper why are normal text books so expensive i will buy more books from half.com

I didn't get the book and then the seller mysteriously ended his/her account. I was very dissatisfied with the service and was cheated out of $50. I dont know how the book is since I did not receive it

Ordering the book was fine, but i never recieved it in three weeks. I think giving someone 14 days to get something to someone is to long. It should be shorten, because now i have had to wait 14 days before i could claim it wasn't recieved, now after filing a claim I might have to wait another 30 maybe before I can get my refund. That is 44 days from the time I purchased the book before I get it or get my money back so that I can try and get another one. I believe the shipping time should be looked at.

I have bought this book since August but until now I have not received the book. I have not heard any thing from the seller at all eventhough I keep trying to contact with him/her. I'm still waiting the response. Do not trust this seller.
