The First Commandment by Brad Thor (2007, Hardcover)

This is the very first time I read a book by Brad Thor. And I have to tell you, I didn't know what I was missing all these years! "The First Commandment" kept me glued to the book all day.

I won't spoil it for you -- the liner notes say that 5 worst of the worst terrorists were released in the middle of the night to freedom. And one of those terrorists starts wreaking havoc of biblical proportions on everything near and dear to Scot Harvath -- the covert counter-terrorism agent for United States.

Scot has no choice but to hunt him down -- BUT! The President of the United States orders him NOT to!!! What is Scot going to do now? That is up to you... I suggest you get the book and find out for yourself. :-)

I highly recommend this thriller of a book. You won't stop reading until the end... Happy reading!

I have read all his books and he is getting better with each new one.Starts off,fast as always with his new girlfriend...
As the story continous,he is really getting mad and does a few old ementies ewally pay for it.Nice solid ending....like he alwas does.
A must read.

This book was excellent. Slow at first, but picked up steam and never looked back. I have not read any of his books before, so this was the first. I will now have to start reading his other books starting from the first. I would consider this "A good read".

I have read all Brad Thor's series regarding the CIA agent Scott Harvath. Mr. Thor is very convincing in his writings. He builds suspense in the first two chapters and holds you in suspense until the end. I have collected other author's books but wait impatiently for Mr. Thor's next release.

He is a very prolific writer whose style is great in giving enough details without flooding his book with nonessential trivia.

The book was in excellant condition as described, the seller was very easy to work with and the book was sent in a very timely manner. Working with the seller was a good experience and would work with them again and the book was in excellant condition and I saved a lot of money purchasing it through e-bay.

Brad Thor just keeps getting better with each novel. The plot moved quickly and there were plenty of his trademark twists along the way. Scot Harvath is a very likeable character who always does things his way.

Easy read with the author keeping your interest through different scenarios. Intermingling other aspects and then ties them together while keeping the reader in suspense.

It was exactly what I wanted and the process went very smoothly. It was delivered in excellent shape.

I really like his characterizations and always wonder what kind of trouble Scot is going to get in this time. If you have not read Brad, you should give him a try. Other authors I enjoy are Matthew Reilly, James Rollins and Lee Childs. I think this is Brad's 5th book?? All are good.
