First Born (DVD, 2007)

I was really impressed with Elizabeth Shue's performance. I didn't have any pre-conceived notions before watching this movie. To be honest i was impressed with the play out of the plot and the story line. If you like a good thriller that keeps you on your seat, go Rent this movie.

The paternal instinct of a mother is one that is portrayed in a lot of movies, but I fill that Shue nailed it! The loss one fills after having a child and the depression that happens was portrayed perfectly. The movie felt real and that is what i look for in a good thriller!

I would say that this film was worth watching. The acting was good. I found it to be a little confusing at first, however, the plot settled the confusion. I would say if your a fan of thrillers this is a good one.

bought it because i like suspense, action , horror and it had some well known actors in it , thought it would be good , should have left my memories to the actors other works , i could not follow this movie at all , forced myself to sit through an hour - then turned off , just not even interesting , boring , most likely will retire on my shelf , unless someone borrows it , in that case , its one i will never miss , when they forget to return it !

The actors did perform well but the storyline was horrible.
I watched intensely thru the whole movie just waiting to see what was going to happen and then the credits started rolling. What? Huh? OMG!
There was not even a commentary on the movie to help someone figure it out.
Demon possession, witchcraft curse, or just plain 'ole nuts.....who knows.
For the previous reviews: if you are pregnant definately one to watch... Ha! Don't waste your time.
As stated the actors did perform well, but the script is poorly written, directed. I don't recommend this movie at all.

This is a great movie for anyone who is pregant or planning on having children, Movie is well done.

Movie moved too slow into the thriller part,Almost turned it off but stuck it out-- was much better towards the end!
