This is another Stallone's movies at his best. Though unknown at the time his performance and plot of this movie glorifies Vietnam vets and f their plight after entering civilian life. Although a little bit overblown, the movie has touched the sentiments of our war heroes that have been widely disregarded for their contributions and sacrifices of every political maneuvers to get into unpopular war similar to what's currently happening in Iraq and other parts of the world where Lives of young people and responsible family members are being wasted.

Movies like his vindicate those people whose lives have been enmeshed in similar situations. More power to Rambo!!!!!

Sylvester Stallone brings emotion and realism to the part of John Rambo, a Vietnam war vet who is falsely arrested by a sadistic sheriff. When pushed over the edge, he escapes and launches a one man war against the entire police force. In this movie, he uses his environment and intelligence to survive the attacks by the cops, and watching him set traps, dodge bullets, and blow up gas stations is incredible. Richard Crenna is equally great as Coloniel Trautman who trained Rambo in the war. This is no ordinary action film, it's a drama about an unstable war vet with depth and emotion, and his monologue at the end nearly brings me to tears. This is an awesome movie that started it all. The movie now in Blu-Ray is excellent. Get it today.

The higher resolution pumps up this movie from the early 1980s. I have always enjoyed this first of the Blood series because Stallone is more humble and less egotistical. Tight action and not too long at only 90+ minutes.

I like that I didnt have to pay for gas to go to a store that didn't have the movie I wanted, I bought the move because it was a good cheap blueray movie. I won the item Sent a money order and within 3 days was watching the movie! cant ask for more!!!
