Great book about the Indian culture! It takes you into another world years ago in a very different culture with a caste system. It is an easy read. I decided to buy it when I saw a book club reading it and I believe it had been an Opray pick. I'm only 1/3 into the book but I also like reading about a woman's life at that time and place and now it has gone into the life of another family.
