Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (Blu-ray Disc, 2007)

Awesome graphics
Story line is great for all ages.
Sound and picture is mesmerizing.
If you have kids, they will love this movie.

Contrary to what the critics tell you, this really IS a story well-told. Square Pictures went bankrupt telling this story due to the complexity of the CGI done (it was very far ahead of it's time and is still, by current standards, pretty amazing). The story is complicated and, generally, the public don't like complicated - they also don't like stories that seem, in essence, to be of an environmental nature as many have stated about the story line. HOWEVER, sometimes a complicated story is a good one and, in this case, it is. Also, the "environmental" issue at hand seems to be more of spirituality (NOT religious in nature, mind you) than an environmentally preachy film like Ferngully or the abomination Happy Feet. Overall, I recommend this release and think, if you are a sci-fi/CGI fan, will like it.

This is a wonderful movie, and on Blueray, it is even better. Its one of the best science fiction / anime movies of all time, and I guarantee it to be a great addition for your library!

Very impressive CG. The game Final Fantasy does not have to be played in order to understand the plot. A blend of sci-fi and action creates a extraordinary film that may be in the budget bin.

This movie will blow you away with its grapics and story-line. This blu-ray really did the movie justice as far as bringing out the graphics quality.

The movie is the best, animation is great even better on blu ray, the bottom line is like always the human race it doesent accept any other race. The Character are well made. A lot of action and great monsters (phantoms).

Solid cgi looks great on hdtvs good story and action i give it a eght.I bought it because i like the last cgi in ther series though this film is not connected in anyway besides the title.

I have seen this movie i guess a hundred times (since i have nothing else to do but to collect blu ray disc movie now)and i'm really amazed the clear and pure picture and sound quality - It unleashes a new reality and truly unleashes the spirits within high definition movies. You gonna love to watch this movie and to play its game!!! Enjoy!!!
