I have seen the other two and after Final Destination 2, I couldn't believe they were going to make another one. This one going off the basic fear of roller coasters. I am glad I watched it. It has new twist than the other two had plus the bonus feature were you can change there fate is great.

The actors do a great job and the special effects are wonderful. This is not a movie for people if you can't stand to watch blood/gore. While it's not as bad as some movies, it has its moments were people will get flattened, chopped up, etc.

I love the fact that they remember to mention the first movie in it. It brings the series more together. And the way the girl has "clues" on how everyone is going to die is just great. It makes you start thinking also of ways that it could happen to the characters.

If you like the series, this is a must see. Also if you haven't seen the others, it's pretty easy to follow what happens in this one without seeing them.

The Final Destination movies are so good, at never letting the viewer know what will happen next, this movie is just as good if not better as the first 2. The directors of this movie know what will scare people, and give the people what they paid for, a movie that will keep you awake at night. Some of the scenes still scare me today, and for a movie to do that you know it has to be great!

  Another Good Destination.

This film may be the third installment in the series (and hopefully not the last), but this film picks up quickly, and never slows down until it's over. This time, you are provided with the option to "choose their fate", allowing you to decide the outcome of each character. This feature is soooo cool, and I only wish more DVD's had this feature. Equally, the dual disc special edition provides extra-extras (a whole second disc of them) that may new releases do not. I cannot say that there is anything about this film I did not like, other than everyone dying. Still, I can change that! Who says you can't cheat death? (Ha, Ha!!!) Enjoy the show!!!

Just As Good As The First Two-Final Destination 3 TOPS!
Review created: 08/01/06

I didn't put this as excellent, as it would be pretty difficult to tag any cheesy horror movie as that! It still is one good movie for those of you who love horror and blood and gore movies. I saw the first two, and this third one (which I thought would be the end of all, but who knows) and it is just as good as the other two, with the usual gore, excitement, and teens who seem to be resilient to trauma while the suspense of fate hits them smack in the face! If you saw and liked the first and second in this triology, then by all means, watch this one!

I saw it when it first came out at the theater and of course, bought it to add to my collection.

This is a roller coaster ride you will not forget. The movie will keep your attention. One girl has figured out the fate of her friends, but will it be to late to save them or will death play this game of chess better then her. Her friends have being getting killed one by one in very inventive ways. I rate this movie a 10!! This is not for the young rated R this ride you will be glad to get off of..........CHECKMATE!!! You will be sitting on the edge of your seats on this action packed, death defying movie. You won't forget this movie, just sit back and enjoy.

I was not impressed with the latest installment of Final Destination. This one lacked the surprise of the second one. The deaths were mediocre, predictable and, not to mention, unrealistic. Don't get me wrong though, the acting was alright, the story was as good as could be expected. It was okay just not as good as the other two, the second one especially. If you enjoyed the first two then see this one. My final Opinion...Rental.

  BEST BONUS FEATURES EVER!!!
Review created: 09/20/06
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

The bonus features on this DVD are awesome! The features allow you to pick and choose if the characters Die with an opion. If you want to follow the originally line you have that option but if you want to spare 1 or all their lives you have that ability. This ability gives you the opportunity to interact with the movie instead of sitting back. You also have the option of watching the original theatrical release version. Although, this is a great scary movie that continues a great line of Final Destinations!

I don't watch horror stuff but I caught the first one on TV and really enjoyed it. I have since purchased all three and I was a little disappointed in FD3. There are some gory parts but unless you rewind and play it slowly you don't see a lot of pink mist. Worth it to complete the collection but not as good as the first one.

  Better than 1 & 2 combined!

The first two F-D's were OK. But Final Destination 3 is better than BOTH 1 & 2 combined. It is definately worth seeing. Not for the queasy, as there are some bloody scenes. The great thing about this movie is not some deranged killer on the loose, rather the villian is none other than "death" himself, which there's no escaping (or is there????) Glad I don't forsee the future!

If you feel the a great urge to watch this movie then please save your money and rent it. As a huge fan of final destination i was greatly dissapointed by the lack of creativity put in this movie and how predictive it become. I still hail the 2nd final destination as the best of the trilogy and the 3rd as a waste of time. It had not story and no point and leaves you confused at the end....save your money and time.

Impressive Movie If You Liked The Other Ones
Review created: 08/09/06
3 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Final Destination 3 is a great, unique follow-up to the other 2. The story line is very very reminiscent of the other two but it fails to bore because of what it is.

The beginning of the story, where one teenager discovers that they can see what is going to happen in the future, or better, who is going to die, is getting a little old, but the way death is claiming the lives is far from outdated.

And in the style of those old books most of us still remember, choose-your-own-adventure, you can decide the fate of the characters in the movie. Or can you?

THIS MOVIE WAS JUST OK. IT WAS TOTALLY PREDICTABLE. NOTHING TO REALLY KEEP YOU HANGING ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, IT WAS NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST OR SECOND. THEIR WAS NOTHING TO FIGURE OUT IN THIS ONE. AT LEAST IN THE SECOND THERE WAS SOME TWISTS TO THE STORYLINE. THIS STORYLINE WAS NOT WELL WRITTEN IN MY OPINION.

This movie was pretty good. I figured it'd be hard make a third movie on the subject, but they managed. The coolest part has to be in the special features which allows you to "choose their fate" Pretty interesting. check it out

Final Destination 3 is about a group of teenagers desperatly trying to avoid being stalked by death. This is the 3rd of the sequels and has to be the most gruesome and gory one of all. This movie is a treat for horror lovers as it does not disappoint it's full of the three things every horror fan expects gore, action, and of course horror. Although not for the faint at heart this is a great movie I highly reccomend this one!

Final Destination 3:
What I can say about this one is, first: One of the few horror movies that´s part 3 (and 1 & 2) is perfect entertainment for a horror fan. When the make several parts of a movie as good as the first part, is often, second or third etc bad, but not this one! You get your selves a though, if you gonna know you can change your destiny, do you gonna deceive death? or is your destiny already establish??? I would to take the opportunity, to recommended the hole trilogy, they are good all three! Tens, feelings, young but great actors, create a very nice movie to see! Highly recommended from a huge fan and a collector of horror dvd´s!

Final Destination for this Horror Movie Series
Review created: 09/09/06

Final Destination made your skin crawl. Final Destination 2 served as a remind that death still lingers. But Final Destination 3 did nothing but make you wish that the producers had quit when the going was good.

As I watched this DVD, I just could not get past the horrible computer generated scenes that, while intending to be horrifying, ended up being only comical. And, come on, who isn't going to get a laugh out of two uppity biotches get fried in the tanning bed!

The only redeeming factor, I suppose, is the twist at the very end. Unfortunately, it did leave it open possibly to a 4th Final Destination. On that note: writers, producers, directors of Final Destination, please stop! Enough is enough!

First I decided to buy it because it would complete the set. I liked it because it kept you guessing on what was going to happen. I definately think that the ending keeps you hanging for a fourth Final Destination. Of course I have always like suspense/horror movies.

This was my favorite of the 3 "Final Destination" movies!!!! Unlike in the first film, and it's sequel (which was the worst of the three), this one keeps you guessing all the way to the end!!!!! It is definitley worth seeing, and a really cool addition to your dvd collection!!

Will You Succumb to Death Or Will You Cheat It? Yes/No
Review created: 07/19/09(updated 07/19/09)
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Much to my surprise, New Line Cinema made a 3rd film in the Final Destination saga.

As a senior at MacIntire High, Wendy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is enjoying senior night at the local amusement park. She seems preoccupied with taking photos for the yearbook. She is fairly certain that she doesn't want to ride the roller-coaster called The Devil's Speed, but her boyfriend, despite her reluctance, Wendy gets into the ride seats and goes into a trance where she foresees her own death. This traumatizes her into a frenzy and causes 6 or 7 to get off the ride before the fatal accident occurs. From this point forward, Wendy, has a looming feeling that some kind of force is directing her path towards some unknown fate. Her dead boyfriend's best friend Kevin (Ryan Merriman) tries to tell her that he learned that something similar happened before about another student years ago having a premonition that a plane filled with his classmates was died, so many got off the plane before it crashed and saved their lives. After that incident, the survivors all died under mysterious circumstances and in the same order of the setting.

I'm very surprised about this film since it was James Wong who directed the first film of the trilogy, and now he came back to do this one and perhaps even a fourth film due out soon. Wong must have had this idea running around in his mind for several years and finally decided to give it another spin. Wong now gives us two different ways to view the film. One way is as the normal theatrical version and the other way is an interactive choice version where you can change the course of the film and somehow change the course of how things progress throughout the movie. I'm not sure at this moment how complicated it gets, but I do know that on my initial choice, I saved the original boyfriend from death and several others, and therefore, somehow stopped the chain of events that lead to anyone else dying. To me that was surprising, since I thought it might just be a very simple screen prompt (yes/no), but as I continued, it got more interesting.

Of course, we all wonder sometimes how we could finally succumb to the hands of death, as well as when. This film is one of those films that entice you into watching because of our own curious nature. We all want to know everything, including how other people die, even tragically. If you have following the Final Destination Trilogy, then you will know the formula for all three films are very similar in nature; introduce the audience to someone who foresees some looming tragic accident before it happens and let the character cause people to escape death, thus somehow cheating death, but only for a small time. Why, for a small time? Because supposedly death is still coming after you and in the same order as before, just perhaps somewhat postponed until he can get around to setting things straight. This predestination concept is embedded in many different philosophies & religions, so the idea of cheating fate is really nothing new.

Wendy and Kevin both played their rolls pretty well, however I thought that there were times when you just would think to yourself, "How can these two be smiling at each other right after they witness some kind of tragic death of one of their friends?"

I'll give this film a 4/5 because, I've watched it twice and the seemed to enjoy the interaction part better the 2nd time.

IF YOU LIKE MY REVIEWS, PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO LET ME KNOW BY VOTING. THANKS
