These guys have been rapping since the mid-'80s, although their first full-length album didn't come out until 1994. Add that up and you have a lot of years just rapping for fun, and it shows on this release. Horrorcore rap talks about a lot of disturbing stuff, but fans who like it will swear by it. Apparently, this crew is rather close to Siccmade of Brotha Lynch Hung, which instantly boosts their credibility in the genre. There are plenty of rock and electronica influences in the production work and, interestingly, quite a bit of R&B in the hooks. Most of the lyrics are too vulgar to be reproduced here, but suffice to say you don't play this for your kids -- ever. This is strictly for rap fans serious about their hardcore lyrics. ~ Brad Mills
