Liked how it came early than expected and came in excellent condition. Excellent find and great seller..... need I say more.

the book arrived very quickly, it was in great condition, as if brand new. I needed it for class a the beginning of the semester. We have used it and it was helpful.

I bought this book for a class, and it is ok if you want a simplistic overview of basic film theory. Since I am taking an introductory film class and a film theory class, I realized once I started reading this book just how basic it is. If you have no background in film, however, Kolker writes in a very readable manner, and he includes images and shots from films to aid his analysis. Overall, not bad if you want a general overview of cinema. It also includes a CD, which I haven't had to use for my class.
