I love fight games!...(read my UFC Undisputed Review). I got to play this before it's official release(June 23, 2009). Yes, this is the follow up to Fight Night Round 3. Pure physics in the development of this game makes it as life-like as you could only imagine. Okay, so the fighters have the 1000 yard stare, zombie eyes...who cares. You're buying this game to throwdown and throw hands, and that's exactly what you'll get. No hurky, jerky movements, true fluid motion from each fighter. When a fighter gets "hurt" you can finish him off and feel your pulse racing with each punch. The graphics are revolutionary! With every hit to your opponent, you can see him feeling the pain and watch his body absorb each blow with realistic, physical alterations in his face, ribs, stomach, etc...it's that good. Sound, adds to the pain you're inflicting. All factors in real life play in to the overall gaming experience(footwork, stamina, adrenaline rush, boxing strategy).
What to look forward to? The trailers don't lie...pit a young Mike Tyson against Muhammad Ali in his prime. Iron Mike bobs and weaves and throws awesome uppercuts. Ali uses his jab with an insane reach advantage, lightning speed and graceful footwork. A true nostalgic ride for lifelong boxing fans, like myself.
Bottom Line...a must have fight game for all boxing fans. Easy to use controls, great graphics, etc... For non boxing fans...if you like mindless violence and watching 2 guys in shorts beating the living crap out of each other in a near lifelike manner...then you've found the right game.

I so anticipated the release of this game with all the great features and all the boxing legends but the thing that let me down was the controls. I just hate the configuration of the controls. Using only the analog sticks to punch made it very hard to counter punches effectively. As at first I kept losing because it was hard just to punch with the sticks. I was able to get use to it but I would still rather use the buttons to punch.

What I love about the Fight Night Round 4 boxing game is that the graphics are really high definition 1080p and its so real that you're actuaaly watching a real boxing match. I decided to buy this game because I love playing boxing games and this game has some of my favorite boxers on there.

Great Game. A+++++Great game. Graphics are great. Don't like not haveing the button option as far a throwing punches because i figure joystick will have to be replaced because of movement while throwing punches. All in all great game otherwise.

Pretty Good GameI think this game looks and plays great, but it requires an immense amount of practice to be able to consistently beat opponents along the storyline. The concentrated, demanding, and detailed gameplay on the analog sticks becomes very difficult over long periods of time...especially if you have big hands. It is definitely a great game, but don't get discouraged if you aren't that good at it after a week or two...it's supposed to sort of emulate training for the big fight.

Fight Night Round 4 (Playstation 3)I liked that the product was honestly desacribed in the ad. The product was in mint condition and the seller provided free shipping for his product. The price could not even compare with retail stores because the seller sold the game at a discounted price. To purchase a used game this fairly new would cost $50.00 at a store. For this reason, I purchased the product from the seller. It was much cheaper and in mint condition.

This is a great game for all who love boxing. The graphics are excellent and very realistic. The different player modes keeps you busy for a long time. The punches & haymakers look good. And the options to choose classic boxers or to create your own make for some good game play. I would recommend this game for Teens & Up.
