Publisher's Note
Whitman Coin Products is proud to offer the collector a new deluxe 50-state commemorative quarter coin folder. This ten-year coin folder provides 100 coin slots, one for each Statehood Quarter from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, and is the only way to collect all 100 quarters in a single coin folder volume.

Information on when each Statehood quarter is released and educational state facts such as state capitals, flowers, songs, and nicknames are included in each folder.

The folders open flat for all-at-once viewing and have protective flaps that prevent the coins from touching.

Quarter Folder Leaves Something to be Desired

I bought this folder because I have been informally collecting State Quarters for several years and was tired of finding them all over the house. I wanted something to put them in that was small, inexpensive, easy to use and store. I thought in reading the description that this Folder would do.

However, I should have paid a bit more attention to several reviews I read about the folder on non-eBay websites that suggested the holes were quite tight.

Although the holes are obviously made for holding quarters, they do not do so easily! You have to use a lot of force to push the quarters in enough so that they do not pop out again when you close the folder. After having this problem numerous times, I ended up using a padded metal object to push each one in place. I also almost broke through the backing several times while doing so. This was very irritating.

If I had to do it again, I'd look for another type of folder to use. And I'd make sure that I saw that folder and tried it before buying it to be sure the problem was not the same.
