Not being one to give in to the yieldings of any simple human emotion, this abulm gained every single one of its stars. This combination of mind cleansing and soul opening songs is the perfect addition to any person's soft side. But, that is the beauty of this abulm--no one can quite understand the soft melodies of lost loves and torched lyrics as well as those who appreciate the songs. It is because of Goldfrapp's freshman abulm that they were able to build higher and higher into a chemically driven glam wreck and into a soft warm net of tea leaves music. It is a wonderful thing to see an artist actually put so much care into making a song--not finding a combination of words describing their past evening. Cheers to Goldfrapp and their ambience, and cheers to everyone who knows how to appreciate good music--music that really sings out loud.
