Felix the Cat Saves Christmas (DVD, 2004)

When I first saw a trailer for "Felix the Cat Saves Christmas" I was flooded with memories of Felix, Poindexter and the "bag of tricks" (now it's called "magic bag"). I should have left the good memories alone. This video is just over an hour long but seems much longer. They took a decent idea... the evil professor trys to stop Christmas from coming by covering the whole world with huge amounts of snow and it's up to Felix, Poindexter and the "magic bag" to save the day. Then they decided to stretch the video to an hour and added a lot of nothing. Felix and Poindexter meet the Snowkids who are cute but have no part in the story line, but they do extend the video playing time.

I think the best way to sum up this video is that I started to watch it with two of my grandchildren, after about 15 minutes, I was alone.

This is one Christmas cartoon that I had to get to watch over and over.You will enjoy watching this with the whole family.

This was not a very good movie. My Grand-babies were bored with it within 15 minutes. It was too much like a cartoon on TV.
