International 5th Edition of Feedback Control

This is a review of the international version bought from China. I am only dealing with the issues that make this book different from the US edition.
The good news is the problems at the end of each chapter are the same as in the US edition. For me this is critical, it means that I don't have to make photocopies of the home work problems from a US edition.
But there are some issues with this book. The appendixes and all the end of the book stuff is missing; only a few critical pages of it are there. However, the US edition doesn't have solutions to homework problems anyway so you are not missing anything there. You will be missing an appendix on Laplace Transforms and another on Complex Variables and some answers to "end of chapter question" that I doubt any professor will ever give as homework.
Another issue is that this version is a completely different print than the US edition. The layout is different. It has an old fashioned, 1950’s text book, black and white layout that saves a lot of paper, but much more crowded and less pleasing to the eye.
I classify this book as good because the text is all there and the problems at the end of the chapters are all there. Anything else would be gravy, but there isn’t anything else. No appendixes, color pictures, clean layout etc. Since I paid less than half the price, I don't mind the lack of luster this book has. At this price even its old fashioned layout has a bit of beauty to it.
