I actually had read a friend's copy of this book several times and then just had to buy it myself.
FULL of useful and easy to read information about types of feeders and foods and what birds prefer what. How to buy the best bird food--what you throw away that birds enjoy. And even how to build VERY EASY feeders---A terrific homeschool book.
It's made a bird lover out of me--I now have several feeders that are all well-frequented and have enjoyed watching many many types of birds. Fun!
If there's only ONE bird book you buy besides a field guide I would recommend that this is it!
(And did I mention I've never been compelled to write a review before? This is my first one!)
