Feasts of the Lord by Howard and Rosenthal is a clear, concise and beautifully written/illusrated work regarding the Biblical Feasts (Moedim) and their relation/fulfillment in Jesus Christ. An invaluable resource for anyone interested in studying and/or practicing the Biblical Feasts in light of faith in Jesus as Messiah. A great primer for those who are curious about the Biblical Feasts and their spiritual significance.
Unfortunately Howard and Rosenthal write from the traditional Christian perspective that the feasts are not necessarily meant to be celebrated by God's people today. This aside, the book is a must have! If you are interested in finding out about the Feasts . . .start with this book!

I recently completed a Beth Moore bible study, Psalms of Ascent, and she utilized this book as part of her research. I wanted to know more about the Feasts of the Lord that she had referenced so I decided to purchase the book. It is an excellent resource that provides you with background information on the Feasts mentioned in the bible. The authors describe their significance and how they relate to the Christian faith.

Good reference for your Hebrew Roots library
) I purchased the book on recommendation from my Hebrew Roots teacher. Although I have not done extensive research to collaborate or challenge any of the positions the authors take on the interpretation of any of the feasts (or the Hebreww culture which needs to be taken into context), I find the book very interesting and well written.
