The feel of 'Feast' is campy from beginning to end. You will be surprised by a lot of the twists and turns the movie takes to reach the end. What would normally be cliche' is reversed in several situations. The cast is fresh and there are a few laughs and shocks mixed in with this insane gorefest. Acting is great and the effects are well done. I was surprised just how much I liked this movie. I think any fan of campy B-horror movies will like this as well. This would not be a bad title to own but it deserves a rental at least. Check it out if you want to see something fresh that's not the 'same old, same old'. Great work Project Greenlight!!! 4/5

"Feast" (UNRATED VERSION)is a fun-spirited horror gore-fest that is truly a worldwind rollercoaster ride of laughs and horror. Honestly, if you expect a "lights-out good horror flick" you will be disappointed. The film is meant to be "tongue-in-cheek" and executive producers Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Wes Craven combine well to provide you with entertainment. The characters are cheeky and cheesy but that's the beauty in it. They make you hate or love them. You sit back with a smile as the ensemble cast of a motley crue barricade themselves inside a rundown bar one crazy night as Hideous Creatures invade the area. (Reminiscent of the evening standoff in "From Dusk Til Dawn"). The creatures move with lightning speed and with clearly no remorse. The fun comes from the characters as they try and survive the onslaught. (Krista Allen), sexy and hot even when she doesn't try, takes the movie and steals it, as she becomes the Hero; the only one that "may" get out of this nightmarish battle between man and species; if she can keep her head on and think clearly as the motley gang of people that "you want to see get it" -- GET IT !!!! -- It's good fun on film. Just don't expect more than you will get. Nice 80's flashback style characters, enhanced camera work made famous in "Evil Dead" (the too-close close up's....etc), emphasis on women's breasts amidst the chaos (this is where you are thankful for Krista Allen once again.) -- All in the name of entertainment, laughs, horror and gore. Watch it and laugh with your friends. This is the first "root for the kill" horror fun-fest since the 80's "Friday The 13th's".

If you are looking for a gorefest with nuggets of eye opening humor then this movie is for you. The action is non-stop from the very beginning and the characters are unique and well fleshed in their performances. As the action is non-stop the viewer has little time to find any bare spot in the script or the story. An excellent view of the ultimate biological weapon and mankind's refusal to give in without a fight to the death. While I could not take my eyes off the screen, in matters of story depth this film is a trifle shallow but still adds surprises and special effects that will leave you not quite sure you saw what you did. All in all, this is a really great film and highly entertaining!

I went to see this in theaters on a saturday night, not knowing anything about it. I ended up liking it so much i bought it on DVD the day it came out. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who like horror movies. It has a great cast which surprised me. Its also made by great people, Wes Craven, Matt Damen, ben Affleck, Chris Moore. The producers alone should make you want to see it. Its a little gory at times, but it has its funny moments which you cant help but laugh a little at. I loved the beginning alot, it introduces the characters well, and quickly.

Great Horror Flick!

I was a huge fan of the last season of Project Greenlight which if you were not aware chronicles the making of this film so of course I could not wait too see the finished product. I have too say though that I still did not have high expectations for the movie so it was with great surprise that I absolutley loved it. This is by far the best horror movie I have seen in a long time, if you like blood guts and gore then check this movie has tons of it and if you like humor then check again as the film has an excellent sense of humor, I especially love how they freeze the film in order too introduce the characters by giving the name they will be known by their occupation and what their odds are of surviving too the end credits some of which are hilarious. Also I loved how the movie bucked horror movie trends and clichés with all of it's twists turns and unexpected deaths. I don't buy many movies and I only rented this one but I am planning too go buy it this weekend so i'm not sure if I could give it a better review than that, enjoy.

From the cover, I expected a full on gore fest, and lots of action. Which it was all of these things but it also had some comedy in here which made it even more enjoyable. Overall one of the best I've seen, and I would recommend it to every horror fan out there!

Take some strange monsters, lots of blood, and a bit of comedy and you have Feast. While not for everyone, Feast is a blood and gore lovers dream come true. While there is no nudity, there are sexual situations that are rather overt so put the kiddies to bed before you watch this one. It is without question one of the best blood and gore movies recently made. My wife is also a blood and gore fan but she could barely stand to watch it.

This movie was excellent throwback to the old eighties creaure flicks, though its story is a bit hashed the direction and tongue and cheek humor and kenetic camera work of the director help to keep you going from scene to scene. I seriously recomend it for good time and for anyone who was a fan creature features like critters, gremlins or aliens.

I would consider this a "B" movie. But I like that kind. It's a monster/horror with all the good stuff. Lots of gore, some comedy, a few nasty items and a simple story line.
Plus, the action starts right away (no hours worth of character building). So put the kids to bed and get ready for a fun, kick butt monster action flick. I definitely recommend this one, but don't expect any academy awards. {:-)

I loved this movie. For a horror movie, it was really an awesome movie. The creatures in the movie were done very well, not stupid or unrealistic. Gore and Vilance was great, all the scens look REAL.
Just loved it, don't want to give away any part of it for those who haven't seen it. If you love blood and vilence, you will love this movie.

Really a great DVD for fans of "B" movie monsters and dark humor. A group of folks in a desert bar are suddenly under siege by vicious mysterious creatures. While much of it is played for laughs, there are some genuine shocks and scares. This was one of HBO's "Project Greenlight" movies, and was directed by Clu Gulager's son in case you're wondering how the hell Clu Gulager ended up in a low budget horror movie. The cult cast is very good, especially Krista Allen and Henry Rollin as the unconventional "heroes". The DVD looks and sounds terrific, and the extras are a lot of fun.

The movie was filled with so many random things and made us laugh so much. It is good to watch with a bunch of people (not children). The plot of the movie was good. It took me awhile to figure out but made alot of since after watching all 3 movies.

From the get go Feast hits you right away with that sarcastic humor that is just too much.If you love The Devil Rejects humor & language this is for you. The characters & giving them all bio's.
You don't know what is going to happen next which awesome make it great.

Great horror movie. Reminiscent of From Dusk Till Dawn as it also takes place in a bar and customers have to fight to survive. Lots of twists and turns. Who will survive and to what extent will we go to in order to survive. Who will we willingly sacrifice? Gore gore gore. Excellent movie and plot.

Feast for the eyes:What awsome effects :o! This is a very interesting, and entertaining flick. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. And, as I always say, kick-but type women are great in my book! This one's like a cross between "Dusk Till Dawn", and "Species". If you like gore in general, you'll be ok with this one.
