Ah, the Xanth novel that introduced the world to Ptero! You see, Ptero is a very small planet within Xanth, and on Ptero is another even smaller planet, and it keeps going! This is the book that first explained the planet Ptero, which is not only mentioned, but visited in several more Xanth novels.
