This is the cutest movie. My son checked this movie out from the public library and fell in love with it, so I had to buy it for him. A great movie - and not just at Christmas time.

This was NOT the David Bowie version as advertized!
) Be careful to confirm with the seller that you are getting the David Bowie narration when you purchase this, if that is what you are looking for. Many of this particular version were released without David Bowie, and sadly, that is what we got. Otherwise, both movies are great.

My grand-daughter had never seen this until I purchased the dvd. She is 3 and loves it so much, we play it four or five times a day for her. So simple and sweet, not high tech or loud, just a nice simple litte story. Wonderful dvd.

) This is the second DVD we purchased. We loved and watched the first one that it was worn out. There are two beautiful stories. The Snowman and the funny Father Christmas. The artistry on the Snowman is great. These are short peaceful loving Christmas movies that you and your children will love. If you are British or have lived in United Kingdom you would especially love this DVD. Highly recommend!
