This book, will open your eyes, not just about what you eat, is too about how the big corporations work, thinking only in make more money. Will open your eyes about how some politicians acts, just thinking in getting more money. Will open your eyes in the fact of, the people, the final consumer, all ways is the looser.

I purchased this book because it had been recommended by my son. The author has done a tremendous investigative job on what the fast food industry has done to this and other countries. It is also frightening because you start thinking about everything you eat. Agribusiness has done both a service and disservice to each and everyone of us.

Eric Schlosser is a well-researched and persuasive writer. The book reminds me of a more modern version of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle. I like the fact that the book closely examines the industry, gets right to the heart of issues, and is sometimes graphic in illustrating points. It would be hard to not think twice about consuming fast food after reading this book.

This is an excellent, well-researched book about what is really happening in the food industry. It appears to be very well researched. There is much about slaughterhouses and fast food that I did not know. The writing meanders a bit but is in general really good. I read it quickly and enthusiastically. It is, however, very sobering. If I wasn't already a vegetarian, I would become one after reading this book.

Good condition. Took a while but got there anyway. why are they making it difficult? Why can't they just leave it at positive feedback. I for one will hesitate to leave feedback if it gets difficult. Why do I have to do this? Now they want 100!

I bought this book because I needed it for a college class. I bought it on ebay for $1.50 plus the shipping it came out to like $6.00. When everyone else in the class paid $16-$17 dollars for theirs. It was a major deal because being a college student especially now times are hard and so it was great to find such a bargain. This is a wonderful representation that will make you think twice about what you are eating. It starts off with telling about the beginnings of how fast food industry started in this country. Then it goes into how unhealthy that the types of food that we eat. I read this book for my Psychology class, and did really well on the paper.
